candle care

BEFORE BURNING 

1. trim wick at least 1/4 inch.
2. keep the pool of wax free of debris & wick trimming 
3. place candle on a heat resistance stable surface
4. avoid drafts/air currents 

while burning 

1. never leave candle unattended while burning
2. Extinguish candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly. Before re-lighting, let the candle cool, trim the wick, and check for unwanted drafts.
3. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc.
4. retrim wick before each use
